@ChrisOwens62@PoconoRaceway Anyone ever done Pocono AND Sonoma? Sonoma is an absolute joke. 3 hours in traffic minimum unless you’re running to your car after the checkered flag. Which I have done.
@MI_Sprints So was I. But if I’ve got work the next morning, they could get me home before 1AM. Since I was a child, world of outlaws meant getting home in the morning. My high limit experience is not that.
@glman99 What a terrible tweet. A non racing fan friend agrees to come watch a race. They ask “what time?” “Well pre race starts at 12 and we might be done by 5, or 6 or 7.”
It makes it infinitely harder to convince someone that it’s not boring. Because, until you’re on level 99, it is.
@REBEL_INDYCAR@MI_Sprints Idk, all the drivers I care about are at High Limits. The fact that @DavidGravel stays in outlaws is my favorite part of high limits racing.
@Bhoward82@MI_Sprints Last outlaw race I went to was 3 years ago and it left the worst taste in my mouth. Sitting around waiting for track prep for over an hour is completely unacceptable and to them it just seems acceptable.
