Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
In 1985, Carl Sagan sat in front of the United States Senate and described the weather of 2026.
Not as prediction. As physics.
Sitting across from him was a junior senator named Al Gore — who would later win the Nobel Prize, the Oscar, and build a climate investment fund worth over $36 billion repeating almost word for word what Sagan said that afternoon.
Sagan opened with Venus.
470°C surface temperature. 900°F. Hot enough to melt lead.
"Not because it's closer to the sun," he told the senators. "Venus actually reflects more light than Earth. It should be cooler."
The reason it wasn't: carbon dioxide. A runaway greenhouse effect that turned a planet nearly identical to Earth into a furnace.
Then he looked at the committee and said: we're running the same experiment here.
The senators nodded politely.
Then they went back to approving fossil fuel subsidies.
What Sagan told Congress in 1985:
Global average temperature will rise several degrees by mid-to-late next century.
Local climates will redistribute.
Glaciers will melt. Sea levels will rise.
And the problem cannot be solved by any single nation — not even if the US and Soviet Union agreed on everything — without China.
China, he said, had the world's largest coal reserves and was about to industrialize.
Every sentence was correct.
He also said something that got almost no coverage at the time:
"The initial stages of global temperature increase — one region might benefit while another suffers."
That is the sentence that explains the last 20 years of geopolitics.
Canada's growing season expanding while Pakistan floods. Russia opening Arctic shipping lanes while Bangladesh disappears. The politics of climate was never going to be clean because the physics wasn't distributed evenly.
Sagan mapped all of it from first principles, in a Senate hearing room, 41 years ago.
The part nobody quotes:
He didn't say stop burning fossil fuels immediately.
He said: "That has such severe economic consequences that no one will take it seriously."
So he proposed something else — remove government subsidies from fossil fuels, accelerate solar, develop safe nuclear fission, and begin building international frameworks before the crisis made them impossible.
That's not an environmentalist's speech. That's an economist's.
Carl Sagan wrote 20 books. Cosmos was watched by 500 million people across 60 countries. He won the Pulitzer. The ideas in this testimony became the scientific foundation for a carbon market now valued at over $800 billion annually.
He said one line at the end that nobody remembers.
"We are all in this greenhouse together."
In 1985, that was poetic.
Now it's a weather report.
The full testimony is free on YouTube. 17 minutes. Almost nobody outside of climate policy circles has watched it as a complete predictive model — laid out in plain language before any of it happened.
India mein koi 5 minutes number Google kar le to doodh ka doodh paani ka paani ho jaye.
RBI surplus to Govt : ₹2.87 Lakh Crores (US$30 Bn)
Total listed bank profits : ₹4.11 Lakh Crores (US$42 Bn)
NPCI - which runs UPI pre tax ‘surplus’ : ₹ 1,888 crores (US$200 Mn)
To nuksaan kis ka ho raha hai UPI se aur kaunsi subsidy de rahi hai Govt UPI pe jo chubh rahi hai?
Cost of running ATMs and cash logistics in India is ₹30,500 crores (US$ 3.0 Bn). If you want to optimise shut ATMs and promote UPI instead.
Any levy on UPI is just tax collection. UPI is the one scientific achievement of India everyone acknowledges par ab tax ki bali chadhegi.
A 92-year-old man with no computer and no analysts sat down in front of one MBA class and explained how he beat the stock market for forty-five years straight.
He did it for free.
Almost no one has watched it since.
His name was Walter Schloss. He started on Wall Street in 1934, at eighteen, in the middle of the Great Depression. A year later he took Benjamin Graham's Security Analysis course at Columbia. Graham hired him onto his own team in 1946. In 1955, Schloss started his own fund out of a one-room office, with nothing but Moody's manuals for research.
From 1956 to 2000, he compounded money at 15.3% a year against 11.5% for the market, over forty-five years, losing money in exactly two of them.
The lecture was arranged by a professor at the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing at the Richard Ivey School of Business. No slides, no notes. Just a ninety-two-year-old man telling a room of MBA students how not to lose money.
His entire method fits in a handful of rules.
Buy stocks trading below tangible book value. Avoid companies carrying real debt. Never talk to management, because it only clouds your judgment. Hold fifteen to twenty positions at once instead of betting big on one. Selling is harder than buying, and the higher a stock climbs, the more it should scare you.
He repeated some version of one line roughly ten times in that lecture.
"Do not lose money."
Hedge funds today run teams of analysts and Bloomberg terminals chasing what Schloss did alone with paper manuals and one room.
Warren Buffett once singled him out by name as one of the greatest investors he'd ever known. Almost nobody else has ever heard of him.
Schloss died four years after this lecture, at ninety-five. Forty-five years in the market. Two losing years.

Reporter: Are you funded by foreign countries?
Student: Yes, I got funding from Pakistan. They sent me Rs 40 so that I can travel by bus. For the auto, I got Rs 20 funding from the U.S. When I return home, I hope I'll get funding from Nepal as well.
We can't get funding in India because all the funding has been utilized by BJP 😂

🚨 WARNING for all Pixel owners in India. 🚨
My Pixel device was sent to official Google repair. After inspection, Google declared it “not repairable” and gave me only 2 choices:
1️⃣ Pay ₹22,620 for a replacement device
2️⃣ Get the phone returned unrepaired
Now comes the shocking part.
Before taking ₹22k+, Google India REFUSES to disclose:
❌ Which exact device they will send
❌ Whether it’s NEW or REFURBISHED
❌ Battery health details
❌ Water Resistance Rating
❌ Replacement quality standards
❌ Google cannot guarantee battery health percentage
❌ Google cannot guarantee IP/water resistance rating
And in writing, Google Support confirmed:
⚠️ Once payment is made, there is NO refund and NO return — even if you are unhappy with the replacement device quality sent later.
Most shocking part?
Google could not even confirm whether they have any minimum measurable quality standards/policies for refurbished replacement devices:
Battery health %
Water resistance integrity like IP rating
So basically:
Pay first.
Find out later what device you got.
No refund. No choice.
Without transparency, measurable quality benchmarks or refund rights.
This is not premium after-sales support.
This is “trust us after payment.”
Attaching screenshots of Google Support’s own email response.
Indian Pixel buyers deserve transparency before payment, not blind acceptance.

A few days ago in Parliament, Modi was taking credit for India’s energy security amid the West Asia crisis.
Here’s the truth buried in Parliament’s own records:
Every underground cavern protecting India right now; Visakhapatnam, Mangalore, Padur; was planned, approved and built under UPA-Congress in 2012.
Modi’s contribution in 12 years?
Capacity: 5.33 MMT → 5.33 MMT.
Phase 2 (6.5 MMT), “approved” in 2021; land still unacquired in 2026.
China added reserves every single year. Japan (97% importer) maintains 140 days of cover.
This government maintained photo albums.
India is surviving the energy crisis on Congress’s infrastructure, the Navy’s bravery, and Iran’s mercy.
Nothing this regime built in 12 years stands between you and a blackout.
That’s not a failure of policy.
That’s a betrayal of the nation.
An MIT professor taught the same math course for 62 years, and the day he retired, students from every country on earth showed up online to watch him give his final lecture.
I opened the playlist at 2am and ended up watching three of them back to back.
His name is Gilbert Strang. The course is MIT 18.06 Linear Algebra.
Every machine learning engineer, every data scientist, every quant, every self-taught programmer who actually understands how AI works learned the math from this one man. Most of them never set foot on MIT's campus. They just opened a free playlist on YouTube and let him teach.
Here's the story almost nobody tells you.
Strang joined the MIT math faculty in 1962. He retired in 2023. That is 61 years of standing at the same chalkboard teaching the same subject to 18-year-olds.
The interesting part is what he did when MIT launched OpenCourseWare in 2002. Most professors were skeptical. They worried that putting their lectures online would make their classrooms irrelevant. Strang did not hesitate. He said his life's mission was to open mathematics to students everywhere. He filmed every lecture and gave it away.
The decision quietly changed how the world learns math.
For decades linear algebra was taught the wrong way. Professors started with abstract vector spaces and proofs about field axioms. Students drowned in the abstraction. Most never recovered. They walked out believing they were bad at math when they had simply been taught in an order that nobody's brain is built to absorb.
Strang inverted the entire curriculum.
He started with matrix multiplication. Something you can write down on paper. Something you can compute by hand. Something you can see. Then he showed his students that everything else in linear algebra eigenvectors, singular value decomposition, orthogonality, the four fundamental subspaces was just a different lens for understanding what the matrix was actually doing under the hood.
His rule was strict. If a student could not explain a concept using a concrete 3 by 3 example, that student did not actually understand the concept yet. The abstraction was supposed to come last, not first. The intuition was the foundation. The proofs were just confirmation that the intuition was correct.
The second thing Strang changed was the classroom itself. He said please and thank you to his students. Every single lecture. He paused mid-derivation to ask "am I OK?" to check if anyone was lost. He never used the word "obviously" or "trivially" because he knew exactly what those words do to a student who is one step behind. He treated 19-year-olds learning math for the first time the way he treated his own colleagues. With patience. With respect. With the assumption that they belonged in the room.
For 62 years.
The result is something that has never happened in the history of education. A single math professor became the default teacher of his subject for the entire planet.
Universities in India, China, Brazil, Nigeria, every country with a computer science department, started telling their own students to just watch Strang's lectures. The University of Illinois revised its linear algebra course to do almost no in-person lecturing. The reason was honest. The professor said they could not compete with the videos.
His final lecture was in May 2023.
The auditorium was packed with students who had never met him before. He walked to the chalkboard, taught for an hour, and at the end the entire room stood and applauded. He looked confused for a moment, like he genuinely did not understand why they were cheering. Then he smiled and waved them off and walked out.
His written comment under the YouTube video of that final lecture was four sentences long. He said teaching had been a wonderful life. He said he was grateful to everyone who saw the importance of linear algebra. He said the movement of teaching it well would continue because it was right.
That was it. No book promotion. No farewell speech. No legacy management.
The man whose teaching is the foundation of modern AI just thanked the audience and went home.
20 million views. Zero ego. The entire engine of the AI revolution sits on top of math that millions of people learned for free from one quiet professor in Cambridge.
The course is still on MIT OpenCourseWare. Every lecture, every problem set, every exam, every solution. Free.
The most important math course of the 21st century is sitting one click away from you. Most people will never open it.
