@lawyerinbeta @remote_orb @Eaches I have 1 TB Google drive under my old gmail account (like [email protected] not a custom domain) and I’m so irritated now that I’ve migrated. I basically just shared all the folders from that drive with my domain drive bc it’s impossible to migrate 🤦‍♀️

@lawyerinbeta @remote_orb @Eaches I think your google apps acct is hosted on Google servers as is any Google Drive so you shouldn’t have to pay separate hosting beyond whatever you need to pay for Google

Screenshot of storage on the 11" Asus laptop w/a Celeron chip...I don't know how to own a device w/o doing surgery SOOOO I put a 512 GB NVMe in it because it had the slot for one. 64 GB of local storage was not going to cut it, no way. I mapped my network drive as well.

@BruceHeerssen Delta is installed on the server machine, it’s 1 TB and would just be the remainder of the Ubuntu boot drive, but as a rule I don’t tend to keep files on boot drives in case I have to reinstall an OS with no warning. I wish more people followed that rule

@BruceHeerssen lol I love it! Bravo is my network server and is running Ubuntu. That way, it has storage and Pi-Hole for the whole house at all times.

Alpha is my powerhouse Dell laptop for crazy multi-tasking & projects. 😂 I also have a Delta network drive but I haven’t mapped it out yet

I’ve been using this machine for a couple days. I actually really like it! It’s not useful for powerhouse stuff but it’s been great for internet-ing and Zoom calls. Also extremely lightweight & it stays cool, no overheating (more)

For $140 this was def a good buy. I have my i7 Dell for crazy multi-tasking/intense stuff. Plus the tiny amount of storage on this is a non issue bc I mapped 5 TB NAS to it 🤷‍♀️
