The Overton window, familiar to Orwell, is manipulated to control public discourse.

@BBCNews and @SkyNews strategic display of the Cenotaph and accompanying narrative during the recent peace march creates a false association, diverting attention from the march's call for a ceasefire on Armistice Day.

@guardiannews’s language choice raises concerns about journalistic objectivity, portraying Hamas actions as 'brutal massacres' while using passive terms for Israeli bombings.

The reporting of casualties further accentuates the bias, with Israelis 'killed' and 'murdered,' while Palestinians simply 'die,' and buildings targeted by Israeli missiles merely ‘explode.’
It's not just about discriminatory language; it's the deliberate exclusion of context and pertinent information.

Moreover, the Peace Marches pose a challenge for the political class. An overwhelming 76% of the UK public desires an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. To maintain power, they rely on an uninformed populace. I implore everyone to be discerning consumers of information, fact-check, resist perpetuating propaganda, and to be fearless in speaking truth to power.
