Piers Corbyn is bonkers, but he’s bloody right here.
The mission creep to move away from cash will impact so many old, vulnerable and cash businesses, at a time when banks are shutting branches and cancelling accounts for opinions that they don’t like.
Bravo here tbh 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@mhdksafa Couldn’t agree more. Recently spotted an elderly lady in a supermarket who was using a stick and walking very unsteadily towards a fast moving escalator. An accident waiting to happen. After taking to her, I walked with her to the lift instead.
Dear @Gett_UK you charged me £67 for a cab that had £29 on the meter from Euston to Gloucester Rd tube. I won’t be using your APP again and I hope everyone reading this knows what charges to expect - thanks for your reply- now deleting the APP - have a great day my friend
Both Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak have suggested introducing charges for NHS patients🚨
I fight against NHS privatisation. If you oppose NHS privatisation, please could you RT this and follow me? Please help me to get louder!📣💙💥
@benclatworthy I hope those people who haven’t already booked a flight (that’s me) holiday at home. Where I live (the Isle of Wight) we have some lovely beaches, ancient forests, quirky attractions, theatres and seaside family fun days.
@VisitIOW@IWWalkingFest So enjoyed the Lost Crypt Living History walk today. Our walk leader “Florence Elizabeth Chandler Maybrick”, a mine of interesting info about how the town of Ryde grew and prospered, was suitably dressed for the occasion.
An @SW_Help person tells me they have 495 train guards on roster today. 143 have duties, leaving 352 - an astonishing 70% - being paid to sit around as “spare.” Because only 47% of the timetable is operating, trains parked idle.
How can the railway function like this?
It’s almost impossible to watch any contemporary programme on TV without feeling you are being subjected to a moral lecture about equality, inclusion and diversity. A huge oversteer has taken place which has made the world of TV utterly unreflective of the real Britain.
