How do you know that? I couldn't have children and I couldn't afford to adopt - it's expensive as hell and my husband divorced me - he wanted children and wouldn't consider adoption. He left me with no money. But I can promise you if I would have had a downs syndrome baby I would have loved that child. And if I would have had to chance to adopt, I would have. Many people would, given the chance.

Now, these people are going to go on and have their "perfect" child who will know they killed thwir sibling for not being "perfect".

My mother was older when she had me. I'm the last pur of 5 kids. Doctor told my mom that I will more than likely have downs syndrome, and more than likely will have developmental issues, as my sister before me my mother was told she would never walk.or talk (she did, eventually, much later than usual but carried a degree in speech communications and is an Arabic instructor). If that was today and I had a different mother I very well may have been aborted - even without doctors saying that. Unfortunately, I was jnae to have kids but I would have welcomed any child, even if they're sick. God bless you fkr doi g the right thing.
