"I might decide to retire after the World Cup. Life is short. I want to memorize the Qur’an and become an Imam of a mosque one day."

Have you noticed something?
Iran is the only country where the top people die first in war.
In every other country the leaders and generals sit in luxury and send jawans to slaughter.
Now I understand the loneliness Imam Husayn must’ve felt.
A Shia country fights the modern day Yazid (US/Israel)
The Sunni countries (GCC, Turkey) instead of coming to Iran’s aid, directly aid the US.
Ruben Amorim didn’t fully trust him.
Enzo Maresca didn’t trust him.
Liam Rosenior has his doubts.
Even Lionel Scaloni hasn’t really relied on him as he is not being called for Argentina for months now.
Garnacho single handily eliminated Chelsea from Champions League, I’m not saying he’s the only reason they went out because PSG were clearly the better side — but having lineups leaked hours before both games? That’s not normal.
Chelsea had never been known for dressing room leaks in their history. But Garnacho arrives… and suddenly lineups start appearing online before the biggest games.
But if it is, then Garnacho might be the unluckiest footballer alive, because the leaks seem to follow him like a shadow.
And whether people like it or not, this kind of situation affects everything. The team, the preparation, and especially the manager — because how do you build trust when you don’t know who’s leaking information?
How many managers he needs to throw under the bus to understand that he is not starting level of the player on the big club? Honestly I don’t see him starting even on mid table stuff.
The good news is that we soon will get that 10% sell on clause on his contract as i see Chelsea ship him as soon as they can.
- Isolated Garnacho

Rúben Amorim laid the blueprint, Michael Carrick just executed it.
Same ideas, same players. The only difference is now it works and everyone’s acting surprised.
Rúben Amorim’s time at Manchester United will probably be debated for years. Results will be dissected, decisions questioned, and critics will always find something to point at. That’s football.
But beyond the noise, there is something that cannot be ignored.
For the first time in over a decade, Manchester United had a clear football identity again.
Amorim arrived at a club that had spent years drifting between ideas different managers, different systems, different philosophies. Nothing ever truly stuck. The squad looked confused, the structure uncertain, and the fans were desperate for something to believe in again.
What Amorim brought back first wasn’t trophies.
It was clarity.
You could see what the team was trying to do. The structure was visible. The discipline was real. Players had roles, responsibilities, and expectations. The chaos that had defined so many years at the club started to fade.
He demanded standards.
He pushed for players who could think, run, press, and carry responsibility in the system. The signings reflected that vision players chosen not just for talent, but for how they fit into a collective idea of football.
And slowly, something else returned to Old Trafford.
Connection.
Fans could once again recognise their team. The work rate, the organisation, the fight, the courage to impose a style of play it reminded people of what Manchester United is supposed to feel like.
Not perfect. Not finished. But alive again.
Amorim had to navigate criticism, pressure, and the weight that comes with managing one of the biggest clubs in the world. Every decision was magnified. Every result judged instantly.
Yet through it all, he never abandoned the idea.
He tried to build something modern, disciplined, and sustainable.
And even if his chapter ends earlier than many hoped, the mark he leaves is important:
He reminded Manchester United that identity matters.
Because before trophies return, before dominance returns, before the club can truly rise again , there has to be a clear idea of what Manchester United football actually is.
For a moment in time, Rúben Amorim gave that back to the club.
This guy had Bellingham, Tsoameni and Valverdi at his disposal and still wanted another midfielder yet Manchester United fans wanted Amorim to beat every team with Ugarte, Casemiro and Carrington’s zidane Mainoo.😭😭
🚨🇵🇹A SPORTING LISBON FAN WROTE THIS: 👇
As a Sporting supporter, I genuinely believe Manchester United fans will come to regret the club’s decision to dismiss Amorim. It was unfair to judge his system without first providing him with suitable midfielders and wing-backs. The club had a young, promising manager with a strong personality, someone who was also willing to challenge an underperforming board. Now, United risk being held back by veteran players who remain more out of attachment than ambition, seemingly willing to see the club decline rather than pursue new challenges elsewhere. I also find it unlikely that many managers would be eager to take on the Manchester United role at this stage of the season.
Amorim was transparent about his system and preferred style of play from the very beginning. He interviewed with Liverpool, who ultimately decided not to proceed because they wanted to play a different way, which is entirely reasonable. Manchester United, however, chose to back him. Given that he had clearly communicated his philosophy from day one, it is difficult to understand why the board later began to micromanage his work. Well, I guess I understand why they did it, because of the pressure from the likes of Gary Neville.
Rather than instructing him on how to coach, he should be allowed to do his job, while the scouting department should have fulfilled theirs by providing him with suitable midfielders and wing-backs. During his time at Sporting, he revolutionized the club’s style of play, to the extent that even the B team adopted his system to ease player transitions into the first team. And let me tell you, we played beautifully. It wasn't boring, it wasn't slow, we completely dominated teams both in the Portuguese league and europe. This is a long-term project that requires trust and patience.

🚨🎙️ | Amad on the sacking of Ruben Amorim:
“It was a TOUGH topic. I was a bit sad because he’s the coach who gave me more visibility and more opportunities to play for Manchester United.
“I was VERY sad. I even sent him a message to thank him for everything he did for me, both in my life and especially in my career.
“I wished him good luck wherever he goes. It was a difficult moment for me, but I’m really focused on Ivory Coast and on this competition. I want to finish well here and try to win this AFCON.
“We had a very good relationship, almost like a father-and-son relationship. He understood me, gave me a lot of advice, and let me play freely. It’s very unfortunate, but that’s life. You have to adapt, that’s football.
“I wish him all the best in life and in his next club. My next focus is Ivory Coast. I have to give everything for the country.”
