Joint search and rescue exercise with @SuffolkFire today. Foot and boat teams responded to a mock flooding incident with multiple casualties around Alton Water.
We were then supported in moving the casualties to a holding centre in Ipswich by @NS4x4R and @ea_cat.
Today, members of our team worked alongside other local agencies in simulating a coastal flooding event with multiple trapped casualties for the national FloodEx.
Casualties where recovered by foot and boat teams from @SuffolkFire & @SuffolkLSAR
@999Ben@melbuck998@tillyalex Our boat team use their own torches when in the boat, most of which are LED Lenser torches. These are the same lights we use searching on callouts, however I don’t think they will meet the specification.
The team have completed training around the West Stow area. During this training we deployed several foot teams and bike teams to search for a missing person who was actively evading us on their own bike.
