If Korea were to have a 0 tolerance policy on DUIs, then everyone would face the same punishment, no matter the alcohol level, vehicle, whatever. But you shouldn't want this just because it's a kpop idol you don't like. Why? Because they did this shit in the US for drugs

Punishment of a crime is based on the SEVERITY of the crime. They do not give the same punishment across the board and also consider the surrounding circumstances. They take past offenses or lack thereof into consideration as well.
