@EruditeMidnight@opkimistic@JessicaValenti The video doesn't clearly explain it, but basically North Carolina's law makes that illegal as well, since the embryos with genetic issues are destroyed. But these are embryos in a lab- there's no pregnancy that's ended, i.e. no abortion.
@EruditeMidnight@opkimistic@JessicaValenti No she isn't. What she needs is pre implantation genetic diagnosis. That means her embryos have to be made in a lab and then tested to see if they have the damaged genes, then only healthy embryos are implanted. She's not saying she needs abortions.
@_NicoTheLegend_@taskmaster_K@jk_rowling Sounds like she may have been born with a syndrome which caused her to appear female, though her chromosomes would generally be those of a male. Likely neither she nor her family would have been aware of this as she grew. So she's not trans, since she never thought she was male.

@callyhill55@ambermruffin You do understand that 12 people DON'T have to agree for jury verdicts, right? In most states, all 12 do need to agree to convict a person, but all 12 not need to agree to acquit a person. In fact it could be 11 to 1 in favor of conviction. Now I'm not saying.......
