🚨 JUST IN: President Trump officially announces that CLEVELAND, OHIO has been selected by the US Department of War for a new 46,000 square foot plant to repair and manufacture key submarine parts
Sen. JON HUSTED (R-OH) locked down the deal. This is HUGE.
BIG WIN FOR OHIO! 👏🏻
"The new home of the U.S. Submarine Component Repair Center, a big deal that everybody wanted, and it's going to be right here in Ohio — in Cleveland, Ohio. Big deal. This massive 46,000 square foot facility will manufacture, repair, and maintain key parts for virtually all new and existing submarines."
Husted is on the ballot.
Keep this going and vote red, Ohio!
I want the awful images of the terrorized congregants in MN to serve as a wake-up call for the Christians who have deluded themselves thus far into thinking that progressivism is an acceptable worldview, who have fallen for the lie that these people really do care for the “least of these” and the marginalized.
Let me disabuse you of that notion. Progressivism is inherently anti-Christ and pro-chaos. Always and in every way.
That stunt was not about the immigrant community. These activists look for any trigger incident to justify terrorizing Christians. In 2020 it was George Floyd, this time it’s Renee Good.
Progressives see this as a battle against Western civilization, the American system, and the institutions that have contributed to the “oppression” of victim groups. They know that the church stands in the way of their desire for destruction.
If they can make you scared and silent, if they can morally extort you into taking their position, then they've won.
We as Christians have to be so clear on 2 things:
1) We serve a God of love and mercy, which have manifested themselves in our lives through Jesus Christ and in our treatment of others. For 2,000 years we have upheld the dignity of vulnerable people and we will continue to.
2) We serve a God of justice and order, who created borders, laws, governments, and nations for our good and His glory. As Christians, we are to be agents of order, not chaos.
We've got to be resolute on what we know to be true, and we cannot be bullied by progressive terrorists.
In the end, the gates of hell will not prevail against us
Rest in Peace Bob Weir. Thank you for all the years of support in the environment wars and thank you for your friendship.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. We send him off the way he sent so many of us on our way: with a farewell that isn’t an ending, but a blessing. A reward for a life worth livin'. https://t.co/2qdBbh80v1

Earlier this year I authored legislation (H.B. 356) that was included in the state operating budget (H.B. 96) and signed into law to require an audit of Ohio’s Medicaid system. This provision was based on an oversight investigation yielding substantial evidence of fraudulent payments being made to Medicaid recipients who have substantially more liquid assets than permitted by law. That audit is underway at the Auditor of State’s office.
Today, I joined more than 40 House colleagues in signing two letters to the @OhioAuditor and the Director of @OhioDCY to request immediate action regarding additional potential fraud in other important parts of our state’s system of social services: publicly funded childcare and home healthcare.
If needed, I will introduce additional legislation providing authorization and another appropriation to the Auditor of State to conduct a full audit of these programs.
The residents of Ohio and their elected representatives have a right to know how our hard-earned tax dollars are being spent – and that they are being expended legally. These programs are designed to help those Ohioans that need it most, not line the pockets of criminals, fraudsters, and thieves.
I remain committed to all Ohioans as a watchdog legislator who is fearless about conducting oversight investigations on these matters. In my role as Vice Chairman of the House Finance Committee, I will continue my efforts to take a long, serious look at every penny being spent by state government.
ICE’s Operation Buckeye Targets Criminal Illegal Aliens in Ohio
Enforcement Surge Focuses on Felons, Contrasting Local Media Stoking Anxieties of Widespread Fear and Economic Harm

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OPN)— U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement launched Operation Buckeye on Dec. 16, targeting criminal illegal aliens with serious convictions in Columbus and other parts of Ohio, according to an agency news release updated with recent developments.
The operation focuses on “the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens,” ICE Director Todd M. Lyons said. “We operate in Ohio every day, but we recently surged our resources there under Operation Buckeye,” Lyons stated. “Since Jan. 20, we’ve arrested drug traffickers, spousal abusers, thieves and worse. Many of the people we’ve arrested have final orders of removal dating back years — and none of them had legal authorization to be in the United States in the first place.”
As of Dec. 26, ICE has confirmed at least 10 arrests in the Columbus area, with agents emphasizing public safety amid ongoing enforcement.
Those detained include Surinder Singh, an Indian national convicted of attempted abduction and sentenced to one year and five months in prison, with additional 2023 charges for a sex offense and strongarm rape. Abdirisiq Hassan Mohamed, 43, from Somalia, had convictions for two counts of felony drug possession, criminal trespassing, theft of services and disorderly conduct, plus arrests for drug trafficking and terrorizing.
Others arrested were Wilmar Edgardo Lozano-Alcantara, 24, from El Salvador, convicted of felony robbery and drug possession; Ignacio Giron-Giron, 47, from Guatemala, with two DUI convictions and assault; and Jose Francisco Diaz-Lopez, 31, from El Salvador, convicted of assault after a domestic violence charge. The list also includes Edilmiro Pedraza-Quinones with multiple drug convictions; Samy Javier Amendarez Mejia from Honduras, arrested for burglary and stolen vehicle; Cesar Ovidio Ruiz-Mencia from Honduras, convicted of robbery; Agustin Juarez-Rojop from Guatemala, with DUI and burglary arrests; and Ramon Guzman Jiminez from Mexico, convicted of methamphetamine and heroin distribution after four prior deportations.
ICE maintains field offices in Columbus and Cleveland, conducting routine operations against threats like drug trafficking and violent crimes. The agency encourages tips via 866-DHS-2-ICE or an online form, and shares updates on X at @ICEgov.
Local Outlets Stoke Fear Over Reporting Facts
Local media coverage has spotlighted community fears over arrest details.
ABC6 reported that the Catholic Diocese of Columbus issued a dispensation for Mass amid concerns over immigration enforcement. In it, Bishop Earl Fernandes excused parishioners from attending Christmas services if they had a reasonable fear of being detained. The station also noted that Operation Buckeye has sparked debate over ICE’s transparency.
Similarly, 10TV featured immigrant-owned businesses along Morse Road claiming lost revenue and uncertainty due to ICE presence, even affecting legal residents. Business owners called for community support, describing empty storefronts in Columbus’ Somali community. Another 10TV report said nonprofits and businesses serving immigrants felt the impact of increased enforcement.
These stories align with trends in sensationalism, where emotionally charged content boosts short-term engagement such as likes and clicks but erodes long-term trust in journalism.
Research shows that such tactics, including fear-mongering and clickbait, increase traffic initially but damage credibility over time, as audiences grow skeptical of exaggerated narratives.
Operation Buckeye’s records indicate arrests limited to those with criminal histories, highlighting a disconnect between operational outcomeses and media coverage focused on panic.

Totally agree, @POTUS! I’m writing the bill right now.
We must stop taxpayer money from going to insurance companies and instead give it directly to Americans in HSA-style accounts and let them buy the health care they want. This will increase competition & drive down costs.
