BPD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD. I try and tweet to document how I feel, and hopefully I can help. We must tackle suicide's stigma together, and help others
Today I saw someone that looked like my abuser and it almost sent me spiralling. I am not the same vulnerable child I was 10 years ago.
I'm so happy that it didn't make me have a complete meltdown. Small steps are significant steps!!
mechanisms. I have trauma that I will never be able to talk about. It still affects my daily life- I've constantly blamed myself for the way I've behaved, but we have to understand that it's a defence mechanism. It is part of the illness.

Childhood trauma, borderline personality disorder and PTSD often go hand in hand. People suffering from these conditions may act differently due to walls they've put up for their protection. It can ruin relationships and opportunities, but we act like that because of survival...
The semi colon is one of the most important symbols of my life. It represents choosing not to end your life, just like an author uses one not to end a sentence, but to continue it.

We wake up everyday, tired from fighting yesterday's demons.
Today's demons are present as always.
But there's a slim portion of me which believes it'll get better.
So we hold on and keep fighting through
I may be a very damaged and broken person, but I'm piecing myself together bit by bit.
I'm learning to love myself, and my story will have a happy ending, because it's what we all deserve.
Ignore the voice telling you that you're worthless, and that you've failed everything and everyone. It isn't true in the slightest, and if no one has said it to you today, you are beyond amazing โค

There are so many difficulties and stresses in life that you can't explain to anyone, regardless of how close they are

There is so much evil and hate in the world, so this quote by Princess Diana is something we should all try and do:
"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you"
Depression can:
-Make you lose track of time
-Make you forgetful
-Cause mood swings
-Alter your diet
-Change the way you see yourself
-Damage relationships with those you love
-Make you withdrawn
You aren't going crazy, and I promise you'll get better :)
