My family used to have this piece of property in Florida. It was beautiful, I used to explore it as a kid. When I heard it was being sold, I spent nearly every night there, at Heart Lake. Now its gone. Last time I went, the forrest was gone. I bet the lake is gone now too.

So I’ve been looking at the news a lot, and some dots clicked for me. Recently a lot of local govs have been shutting down elementary-high schools in predominantly black communities when gas is currently unaffordable. It’s illegal for a child to not go to school. Think about it.

Like earlier this week I was trying to finish my homework and what do I see? A news article with the headline WE’RE CLOSER TO NUCLEAR WAR SINCE THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS! Like jeez, bummer much? I’m trying to focus on succumbing to the capitalist meat grinder over here.
