@vonbrauckmann@PetaIndia I wonder how many people can still consume meat after seeing such pics. What a race mankind has turned into? We can't be called mankind anymore; mancruel it has to be from now :(
By Day 14, I understood what he meant.
Boredom fuels creativity. It sets the stage for your best ideas.
Your brain NEEDS periods of "nothing" to synthesize original thought.
But apps have trained you to never be bored.
Then the doctor showed me brain scans of people scrolling versus thinking.
Scrolling: Amygdala (fear center) + Striatum (reward center) = Addiction loop
Thinking: Prefrontal cortex (wisdom center) + Default mode network = Original thought
Your apps literally disable original thought at a neurological level.
@bhatnaturally@SHEKARSUSHEEL Even the movie 2018 about the floods had to show the church every ten mins. Recent movies show Hindus in very poor light, as a bunch of jokers
Wishing a very happy birthday to the one and only late Lata Mangeshkar. Sharing my favorite song here today

@Zakka_Jacob@payalmehta100@CNNnews18 This is so shocking. I adored her eloquence, versatility and fluency while reporting without any aahs or uhhs. She will be missed💔
While people were busy solving the number 8...
Does 1+7 = 8? Or 2+6 = 8?
India quietly changed the map.
Not with a war.
Not with a speech.
Not even with a temple visit.
But with maritime strategy.
India of 1991 worried about survival.
India of 2026 worries about supply chains.
Because today's economy sails on ships.
Not trucks.
Not trains.
Ships.
India is growing.
Manufacturing is expanding.
Exports are rising.
India's energy aspirations is rising.
Rare earths needs are increasing.
The Indo-Pacific has become the world's biggest chessboard.
Whoever protects the sea...
Protects the economy.
Now look at Indonesia.
One country.
17,000 islands.
Standing at the doorway between the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Near the western approach to the Strait of Malacca.
One of the busiest maritime corridors on Earth.
Ignore Indonesia...
And you ignore the map.
While television debates chased headlines...
India was quietly building something else.
A system.
India and Indonesia are connecting the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with Aceh and Sabang.
Great Nicobar is not just a Island Project.
Aceh is not just another province.
Sabang is not just another port.
Together they sit near the western entrance of the Strait of Malacca.
A maritime chokepoint watched by every serious naval planner.
Whoever understands this geography...
Understands why great powers never ignore Indonesia.
Nicobar - Aceh Connectivity:
Not merely for tourism.
But for logistics.
Ship repair.
Maritime industries.
Future connectivity.
The kind of infrastructure that keeps ships moving.
Even in crisis.
Now you know why China is nervous.
And why some of their agents are making noise.
Indonesia is also placing its officers inside India's
Information Fusion Centre for the Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR).
Think of it as a giant maritime intelligence room.
Thousands of ships.
Satellite feeds.
Radar inputs.
Coast Guards.
Navies.
Partners.
One common operating picture.
One more trusted pair of eyes.
India watches from the Andamans.
Indonesia watches from the other side.
The ocean suddenly becomes much smaller.
Then come critical minerals.
Space cooperation.
Defence corporation.
Digital networks.
Counter-terrorism.
Industrial partnerships.
Together...
They become an operating system.
Strategists don't study events.
They study systems.
Because systems win wars long before wars begin.
Most people saw Modi visiting a country.
Some saw fourteen agreements.
Very few saw India quietly weaving a maritime architecture across the eastern Indian Ocean.
That is how great powers usually move.
Quietly.
Patiently.
System by system.
Agreement by agreement.
Until one morning...
The map looks completely different.
The tragedy is not that most people disagree.
The tragedy is that most people never even see the game being played.
In an age of information warfare...
The biggest victory is making people believe...
Nothing happened.
Congratulations to highly revered scholar & distinguished Oxonian: the Rt Hon’ble @swapan55 for becoming the Finance Minister of West Bengal. After almost 80 years of incessant financial ruin, Bengal will finally get sane economic policymaking.

A simple tea that I have after heavy meals , during bloating or when my guts needs that extra help.
All you needs is coriander, cumin, fennel, and a little ajwain.
Each of these spices supports your gut differently: Coriander cools, Cumin boosts digestion, Fennel eases bloating, and Ajwain is a powerful carminative that helps release trapped gas naturally.
Boil them together, let it steep, and sip it warm.
You can even carry it in a bottle through the day and sip as you go.
Simple ingredients… powerful healing from your kitchen.
