1 - Note that for catheter associated thrombosis minimum 3 months of anticoagulation is recommended.
2 - Also note gudilelines about removal of Catheter with thrombosis
3 - For luminal GI cancers with thrombosis, LMWH is preferred.
4 - For incidentally detected VTE , same treatment is recommended as per symptomatic VTE .
