In Karnataka's Chikkaballapur, a Pakistani woman Farah Naz and her son Fardeen have been arrested for obtaining Voter ID cards, Ration cards, and Aadhaar cards.

How easy has it become to obtain identity documents such as voter ID cards, ration cards, and Aadhaar? Such documents cannot be acquired without systemic failures or the involvement of officials responsible for verification and approval.

While those who obtain these documents illegally are held accountable, what about the people within the system who enable it?

Until there is accountability for those who facilitate such breaches, these loopholes will continue to undermine the integrity of the entire system.

In Udupi, Karnataka, three Mu$lim female students—Shabana Naz, Alimatul Safiya, and Aliya—hid their mobile phones in the college restroom to record videos of Hindu girls using the facilities; they then shared these videos with their Mu$lim boyfriends and relatives.

Ravikumar and his wife, Sirisha, were living happily with their minor children in Warangal district, Telangana.

One day, the couple was found dead on a railway track. Police later began investigating the case.

Their children revealed to the police that their neighbors, Venkat and Pramila, had been repeatedly asking their parents to convert to Christianity. They also kept inviting them to attend church. Out of friendship, the couple went to church and joined Sunday prayers, but they clearly told their neighbors that they did not want to convert their religion. This led to small arguments between them.

Later, Venkat and Pramila convinced Ravikumar to invest in a ready-mix concrete business. They promised that the business would make good profits. Trusting them, Ravikumar mortgaged his wife's gold jewelry at a bank and gave Venkat Rs 20 lakh to buy a ready-mix concrete vehicle.

Venkat promised to pay Ravikumar Rs 20,000 every month from the business. However, he paid the money for only two or three months and then stopped. He also did not return the Rs 20 lakh.

As the bank interest on the pledged gold kept increasing, Ravikumar and Sirisha came under severe financial and mental stress. Their children also said that Venkat and Pramila continued to pressure them to convert to Christianity.

Unable to bear the financial loss and the harassment, the couple decided to leave their home. They later died by suicide after jumping in front of a speeding train near Ghatkesar railway station.

Police said that call records show Ravikumar spoke with the accused Venkat for a long time, about 30 minutes before the couple died. Their children are now pleading for justice for their parents.

Both accused Venkat and Pramila are currently absconding, and the police are searching for them.

May justice be served for Ravikumar and Sirisha.

Sushmita Banerjee met Afghan businessman Janbaz Khan in Kolkata, married him secretly in 1988, and moved to Afghanistan with him after family opposition. When she arrived in Khan's ancestral village in Paktika Province, she discovered he already had a wife.

In Paktika, she faced severe restrictions, a fatwa, and threats under Taliban rule. In 1995, she escaped after learning of a plan to execute her (scheduled for July 22, 1995). She reached Kabul and flew back to Kolkata on August 12.

Back home, she wrote the memoir Kabuliwalar Bangali Bou (A Kabuliwala's Bengali Wife). It detailed her experiences. A Bollywood film Escape from Taliban was based on it. She wrote other books criticising Taliban atrocities.

Sushmita reconciled with her husband later and returned to Afghanistan in early 2013. On the night of September 4, 2013, Taliban militants abducted her and shot her. Her body was found the next day with 20 bullet wounds. She was 49 years old.

When you walk into the auditorium to watch #Alpha, it's impossible not to carry the #Dhurandhar duology with you... Those films have set a new benchmark for spy thrillers rooted in patriotism.

#Alpha follows the familiar #YRF template of gloss, glamour, and high-octane action, but the patriotic emotion that should have been its strongest pillar is largely missing, despite the #Pakistan angle.

Director #ShivRawail had an interesting concept on hand, but the execution feels too Western in its approach... The emotional identification and relatability are missing.

#AliaBhatt tries hard, but looks miscast in a role like this... #Sharvari is relegated to the background... #AnilKapoor and #BobbyDeol deliver competent performances in their respective roles.

#HrithikRoshan's cameo feels forced and doesn't work.

⭐ Final word? #YRF needs to reset and reboot the #YRFSpyUniverse and bring back the believability, emotional connect, and relatability that got audiences hooked on these films in the first place.
