We call upon the Ministry of Home Affairs (@HMOIndia), Ministry of External Affairs (@MEAIndia), and @BlrCityPolice to take immediate, strict legal action regarding an alarming violation by a foreign national.
As per the circulating video evidence, Dhruv Rathee, who holds German citizenship, is openly calling for and mobilizing citizens to participate in political protests ("Save Democracy & Vote" protests) scheduled in Bengaluru on October 8th and New Delhi on October 10th.

* The Legal Violation:
* Under the Indian Constitution, political rights and electoral participation are exclusively reserved for Indian citizens.

* Foreign nationals residing in India on specific visas or holding foreign citizenship are strictly barred from interfering in domestic political matters, organizing political campaigns, or leading protests under the Foreigners Act and Visa Manual guidelines.

Allowing foreign citizens to influence or instigate domestic political movements sets a dangerous precedent for national sovereignty and electoral integrity.

We urgently request the authorities to verify his visa status, examine potential violations of Indian immigration and criminal laws, and take strict, lawful action immediately.

Surat: Lawyer Rahim Shaikh contacted a Hindu woman lawyer (34) in 2018 via Facebook.

He concealed his identity and introduced himself as Hindu, ’Rohan’ to her and at the shared office.

He allegedly applied sindoor, had her wear a mangalsutra in the office, attended Ganesh rituals and a Satyanarayan Katha, and had sex with her on a promise of marriage.

She later found he had already married another woman and refused to marry her. She also alleges assault and caste-based abuse after she confronted him.

After registration of the case on May 15, Rahim Sheikh was absconding.

Surat's Chowk Bazar police have arrested lawyer Rahim Razak Salman Shaikh in connection with a case involving fraud, rape, and atrocities against a female lawyer.

The Cybercrimes police apparently wanted to take her into custody..and the lawyers had to argue to bring her out. She will be attending the investigation/ question again tomorrow.
