Today, our great party, the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, recorded a defining and historic moment as we gave a thunderous reception to distinguished members of the National Assembly and respected grassroots leaders who have chosen to join our progressive family. Their decision goes beyond a political shift; it reflects the changing political consciousness across our state and reaffirms that the APC remains the most credible platform for stability, structured development, and responsible governance in Osun.
Their movement into the APC speaks to a deeper reality that governance must be anchored on experience, fiscal discipline, and long-term planning rather than short-term populism. At a time when our state requires clarity of direction and administrative competence, this convergence of leaders strengthens our collective capacity to offer a government that prioritizes sustainability, inclusiveness, and measurable growth.
Equally significant was the resounding and unanimous endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for a second term in office. The reforms currently reshaping our national economy demand courage and consistency. Transformational leadership is rarely convenient, but it is necessary. Continuity at this moment is critical to consolidating structural corrections, deepening fiscal reforms, and unlocking the long-term prosperity envisioned under the Renewed Hope agenda.
At its core, this convergence is both symbolic and strategic: a symbol of unity within the progressive family and a clear strategic positioning of Osun within the national reform agenda as we approach the 2026 and 2027 elections.
Earlier today, @OyebamijiBola emerged as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Osun 2026 governorship election.
His emergence represents a strategic and thoughtful choice by the party at a critical moment in Osun State’s political journey.
Alh. Oyebamiji is a seasoned administrator, financial expert, and accomplished public servant with proven capacity in institutional management.
His professional trajectory reflects a deep understanding of governance, fiscal discipline, and effective service delivery with core competencies required to rebuild strong public institutions and drive sustainable socio-economic development in Osun State.
Beyond credentials, his experience in public finance and administration positions him as a steady hand capable of restoring confidence in governance, ensuring prudent management of public resources, and implementing people-centered policies. His candidacy signals APC’s readiness to present a leader with competence, stability, and a clear development vision.
As the 2026 election approaches, Alh. Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji stands out as a candidate whose experience and expertise align with the urgent needs in Osun State for good governance, accountability, and sustainable growth.

Dear Banks Omisore,
Saying AMBO is the architect of the modulated salary policy is simply not supported by facts.
The half-salary era began in June 2014 and lasted until September 2016, a nationwide fiscal crisis period affecting many states. Meanwhile, Aregbesola did not even have a cabinet for the first 2½ years of his second term. AMBO and others were only appointed in April 2017 and sworn in May 2017, a full eight months after the modulated salary era had ended.
So how can someone who wasn’t in government and wasn’t even appointed yet be the architect of a policy that had already stopped before he assumed office?
The man who paid half salary, put the state in the huge debt supported your principal to become Governor.
You are welcome to politicking era, let’s play the game with facts not with lies.

A brief recap of my activities on Monday where, I, alongside the leaders and supporters of our party, submitted my Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the National Secretariat of our party, the @OfficialAPCNg, in Abuja, ahead of the forthcoming governorship primary.
As we move to the next phase, with firm support of our people, I am prepared to undergo the screening process as stipulated in the constitution of our great party.
On this, I remain committed to a transparent, credible, and people-driven aspiration where governance is mainly about the people.
Yesterday, my wife and I were in Ibadan, where I had the privilege of interacting with my compatriots from Ikire.
As a proud son of the town where the sun sets, I used the occasion to seek their support for the All Progressives Congress Party (@OfficialAPCNg) in the 2026 governorship election and beyond.

Hello Osun people ,when we said Dr. Deji Adeleke and Yeye Dupẹ are the ones controlling the Osun Government and treasury, some of you dismissed it as political talk.
But here’s Davido promising and handing out Osun government appointments.
@davido , wasn’t this you?
