@kjdelay1 Emergency medicine. Those gals have to be ready to see literally any aspect of medicine and deal with it emergently- heart attack, strokes, broken bones, gunshot wounds, etc. Every single day and sometimes simultaneously. So badass.

"In HSC’s Emerg patients waited upwards of 18 hours to be seen. We were 6-13 nurses short per shift. Missing 3 support staff. Had 57+ patients in the waiting room and told the ER would hold all admissions until beds could be staffed in other areas of hospital. We are NOT okay."
