Mt 22:31-32 has me this morning: Jesus to the Sadducees:”Have you not read what was said to you by God: I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac & the God of Jacob? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” They’re as alive as we. Oh I know you know this but let it sink in:
MARRY ME JULIET YOULL NEVER HAVE TO BE ALONE I LOVE YOU AND THATS ALL I REALLY KNOW I TALKED TO YOUR DAD GO PICK OUT A WHITE DRESS ITS A LOVE STORY BABY JUST SAY YES
There is none so merciful as Jesus. You will not be shamed. You will not be met icily. He cannot love you less or more. He has always loved you with a love that cannot be measured. Wherever you’ve been, whatever you’ve done, nothing can subtract an inch from the infinite. Go home

“I’m on the way to buy soft drinks for my mother. I also fetch water, and sweep, and help her wash clothes. She calls me ‘boss’ because I work so hard, but I love to help her because she cares for me so much. She buys me clothes. She reads me..."
Thinking how wonderful it’ll be to finally hear Jesus read his own words from Scripture. To hear his inflections. See where he smiles as he turns a phrase. To watch his expression when he says Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
