You're cheating yourself by not even putting in the effort. This is the scariest thing about AI: millions of students refusing to work, refusing to learn, zero curiosity, developing no knowledge or skills, empty in mind and heart. Your punishment is the person you will become.
@TheLaurenChen@Ma_WuKong Nobody talks about it? Or is it more so that the conversations about colonialism you partake in mostly occur within English-speaking contexts….which shockingly would naturally mostly center on the colonial practices…. of the English
Genuinely upset to hear about Dr. Jane Goodall’s passing
We should all go to our nearest Starbucks order a honey citrus tea with 2 honeys and 6 termites, and when they ask for our name, we’ll say….

@goongolabongo@Callum_Carmine@KHAMCHANH That credit is routinely given. Most war-centered art predominantly focuses on giving that credit to the US/the Commonwealth
Other perspectives still exist tho — at a minority to boot. Why must art made in honour of already minimized legacies have to shift the same credit again
@vanilla_swiift@Rampaging_rhino @morelands698 @glittersnot@dommiewetdream@PopBase As someone whose bio states you’re into horror movies and that “serial killers are kinda [your] thing,” I seriously hope you understand that the depiction of deplorable acts in media isn’t inherently condonation or glorification of those same actions
@APPictures9 Grooming children w an animation style they lack familiarity w/, therefore have no primed foundation of interest?? AND it’s obviously advertised as an adult project—the burden of protection falls on parents. The real enemy is hypersexual YouTube Kids videos (eg-Elsa x Spiderman)
@APPictures9 The animation is v deliberately referential of older styles which this gen of kids have little to no attachment to (T. Avery, C. Jones, 40s-60s Disney)
Saturday Morning cartoons haven’t been a part of children’s culture for 15+ years. Clearly aimed at nostalgic older audiences.
