Yesterday, I adopted the oldest, sickest, and most broken dog at the shelter. I’ll never forget the look in his eyes. When I stepped into his cage, he didn’t even glance up—he was so used to being overlooked. Curled up in the corner, he had already accepted his fate. The volunteer kept asking me, “Are you sure about this one? Are you sure?” Without hesitation, I said, “YES! This is my dog.” As the cage opened, three other animals tumbled out, but I went straight to him. Suddenly, he looked up at me as if he were seeing an angel. I wrapped him in my arms and whispered, “You’re going to be happy again.” He fell asleep in my lap—probably the first peaceful sleep he’d ever known.
Give them a chance. Give them love. They need us.

This guy picked up a confused 16 year old dog from the shelter so he wouldn’t die alone.

Months later he was galloping around the yard.

If there is a Heaven, this guy is surely headed there.

What would it feel like to go to the shelter and get either the oldest dog there or the dog who has been there the longest? GOALS.

A police station is moved, so this stray dog living with them is sad, so police moves him to the new station with their car, so he becomes very happy again. If loyalty was a picture, it'd be this happy dog.

A duck chose a school as home & returns every year to lay her eggs. When they hatch she leads the ducklings through the corridors to the courtyard lake. It’s now an annual ritual with children staying silent out of respect. Respect is beautiful.
