Manmohan Singh:

The alleged ex-PM of India is dead. He degraded the office of the PM to an unbelievable extent by behaving like Sonia Maino's Gunga Din. He presided over the most rampant corruption while manufacturing the false perception of being an honest politician with the help of the conniving media. He presided over one scam after another giving the impression that the only thing which mattered to him was enriching the coffers of the Nehru family. It's alleged that he was the one who revealed the nuclear tests which P V N Rao had planned in the mid-90s to the Americans in Bengaluru which led to bans and the eventual scuttling of the tests.

Numerous Hindu texts such as the Manusmriti and Arthashastra consider those rulers that fail to rule righteously as sinful. Such a ruler would have to suffer the consequences of his adharmic rule in this birth and the next. These texts prescribe numerous prayaschittas for such rulers. By every reasonable yardstick, Manmohan Singh was utterly incompetent, adharmic, and presided over one of the most corrupt regimes of all times. Those were not victimless crimes. Taxpayer money was looted which would have gone into building hospitals and schools. It's the poorest Indians who paid the highest price for the sinful deeds of this Nehru family's Gunga Din.

It would be befitting dharma if a naraka really existed and Manmohan Singh suffered there for a long time. Eventually, according to Hinduism, everyone may attain sadgati and shanti but the time to end this post with "Om shantih!" hasn't come yet. All I can say for now without incurring the sin of political correctness is, "Manmohan Singh, now it's your turn to face the consequences of karma in your afterlife! May you learn a lesson in dignity and righteousness from this karmic suffering!"
