Nowadays our leaders are too busy chasing clan votes instead of chasing development
Mandera people are jobless, struggling for basic needs, and our roads like Mandera–Rahmo remain impassable.
If those in power can’t push for progress, what’s the point of voting them in again?

Can we not choose coexistence, live in harmony and recognise one another as brothers and sisters?

I urge both the Gare and Borana communities to reflect deeply on these questions

Land disputes must be resolved through dialogue, not violence. No disagreement is worth the loss of human life.
