@realDonaldTrump Please help Hongkonger and the students of #PolyU .#HongKongPolice was crazy now, they declare that they will use Real gun to Control the situation
Doctors and nurses working as first aid to treat students and protesters wounded by police were arrested following the cops order of leaving the university. This is a serious violation of humanitarian principles which possibly can amount to a war crime. #PolyU#HongKongProtests
The Chinese and #HongKong governments must immediately deescalate the situation and exercise restraint at #PolyU. More violence & bloodshed will only make things worse.
The world is watching. #StandWithHongKong#DemocracyForHK
#HKpolice enclosed the TST area. Witnessing previous police attacks on other universities, protesters on guard to protect Polytechnic University. Counsel of the uni reported students to the police. Police entered the university after shooting tear gas canisters into the campus.
Chinese officials and propagandists have also started using the pathological language of “virus” and “infection” to refer to the protests in Hong Kong (while the frontline HK police prefer talking about infestations of “cockroaches”)
Meanwhile, a peaceful prayer session-cum-protest for #HongKong at Central’s Chater Garden on Sunday afternoon has attracted hundreds.
Another commemoration rally-cum-protest marking 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall is set to commence this evening.
