John 10:34 (Jesus quoting the Psalm): “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” (full context in 10:34–36 continues the argument).

Christ confirms Psalms to be the former, not the later. Sorry.

Psalm 82:6: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.”

So which one is correct? God our Father will forever be our God. But he intends to give us all the opportunity to be like Him.

Romans 8:16–17: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

So obviously, Isaiah is speaking about something else, in a different context.

@WilliamTYElon @Faustzme The Trinity is a term that isn't even mentioned. And even in the Talmud, Jehovis is plural for Jehova. To say the Son resurrected with a body, but then returned to the spirit is not a solid doctrine. Seen a lot of denominational churches split over this.

It is absolutely abhorrent in our belief to abuse children. This isnt islam. This is Christs church.

But like any institution, we have to deal with what is called the natural man, whom is an enemy to God.

If a man's sin can pull you away from God, then you never built your own testimony. Rather you were relying on others to do it for you.

God is who you should look up to, no matter what evil men do. The failure, is thinking that someone wouldnt try to abuse the word of God, even though all scripture warns us and prepares us for this.
