As the first woman Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar, she led from the front during the floods — present in the hardest-hit areas, listening, acting, and standing shoulder to shoulder with her people.

When crisis strikes, real leaders put duty before comfort, and the nation before self. My respect and gratitude to her, and to the countless heroes across our country who embody this spirit every day. More power to her as she continues to work for the welfare of the state.
