Since Jan 2025, ~145,000 children in the U.S. have experienced a parent getting detained; at least 79 children have been harmed by tear gas or pepper spray; and 6,200+ kids have been placed in immigrant detention camps.
There is absolutely no reason for this many children - BABIES AND TODDLERS - to have been in ICE custody. This should be appalling to everyone, especially when Congress just approved $70 billion in additional funding to ICE/CBP without ANY oversight.
