Forced forgiveness is a toxic concept where people tell us to “just move on” or “you need to forgive.” Forced forgiveness implies that a person who’s experienced abuse, neglect, or pain should get over it and allow the person in their lives. When our boundaries are violated or people hurt us, feeling anger or needing to grieve is a natural response. Bypassing our emotions to please other people is a common response in society (especially when family is involved.) In reality, forgiveness is a personal journey. It’s not for anyone else to decide how we experience an event or a relationship we have with another adult.
@MadiBoity Over-emphasising. Exaggerated wording. Repetitive. Trying too hard to be convincing. lying by making direct eye contact shows confidence in the act
Hyper-independence is a trauma response where we: rarely or never ask for help, believe no one cares for us, and give up on making any connections at all because we believe eventually we’ll be abandoned.
@MmusiMaimane@CyrilRamaphosa Come to Gqeberha. Coalition government? DA? ANC? This part of the eastern cape is ungovernable! We have days to go till we run out of water. Infrastructure is non existent/on its last legs. Roads area disaster. Who can lead the EC??
@ShareenSingh8 2/2 it would be foolish to only look at the faulty aircraft. The entire fleet and possibly safety manuals that are used to log issues should be investigated. There is no doubt as to why this is done. Watch aircrash investigation to give you clarity
@ShareenSingh8 An airline's business is to transport people/goods. So if the means of transport is not operating at its best level then an investigation/audit should be conducted. Is it negligence/lack of required maintenance/technical staff shortages? 1/2
