That's how long Mohammed Abbas had the keys to his taxpayer-funded house in Cardiff before he struck.

He crossed the Channel by dinghy from France in March, claiming to be Palestinian. He was then convicted of assaulting a police officer. And the Home Office handed him a £250,000 two-bedroom house all to himself.

On July 30, at 2am, he forced his way into a family home in Cardiff. Two young sisters, one under 13, woke to find him exposing himself in their bedroom doorway.

He has admitted the offences at Cardiff Crown Court, and the Home Office now says it will deport him "at the earliest opportunity".

The earliest opportunity was before those girls were ever put at risk.

Deport foreign offenders on conviction. No exceptions.

This is a British Airways pilot, working as a First Officer since 2023.

His name is Kwame Yeboah and he is 30 years old, was born in Ghana but was given British nationality.

He groomed a 12 year old girl through Instagram in 2025, She initially told him she was 17 but it was very clear from their correspondence and photos that she was just a child.

He then travelled across the country from Reading to Merseyside to meet her, took her to an isolated location and raped her. Three times. He then left her on the side of the road and drove back to Reading.

The child’s friend told her mother about the attack and the police tracked him down from his social media account. He pleaded guilty to rape of a child under 13.

He was sentenced to 9 years and 4 months in prison but is likely to serve about half of this (or less) due to the standard release terms in the UK.

Nothing was said about rescinding his citizenship or sending him back to Ghana so just another child rapist to add to the growing number in the UK.
