Great time this morning presenting to council about our ideas for increasing meaningful membership engagement in @wildlifesociety. They were also enthusiastic about our implementation ideas - stay tuned for upcoming new and expanded opportunities for members!

Check out our latest paper using #SnapshotUSA data to examine the impact of human presence on bobcat interactions with other carnivores across the United States. Awesome collaborators with work led by recent @NorthernMichU MS student Tru Hubbard: https://t.co/5fK719U5pS
So glad to see this one out! Many collective hours of camera trapping these sneaky critters went into this work and there is more to do to refine best practices!
Wildlife professionals, researchers, educators:
I see a LOT of discussion from undergrads about pursuing online/non-thesis MS degrees to advance their wildlife careers. If you have insight/opinions, will you share below? I'd like to post a thread for students as a resource.
At long last, this paper is out in the world! We predicted where plains spotted skunks are likely to persist in Arkansas and Missouri. Thank you x1000 to my coauthors who stuck with me during revisions and helped push this work over the finish line!
Interested in Plains Spotted Skunks & where they might persist? Check out our new JWM paper. Kudos to @sumdawg for seeing this to completion. https://t.co/Txf2GLvhce
