By far the funniest moment in Homer’s Odyssey is when Circe says, “Shall we have sex?” and Odysseus says, “You just turned all my men into pigs. You have the GALL to think I would sleep with you? Of course I will. Absolutely. But don’t do any weird spells”
It’s funny how Tenzin started off completely against pro-bending and saw it as a distraction from Korra’s training.
Then later on bro was fully locked in watching the pro-bending finals like a proud dad in the stands.
You can really see the moment he started understanding Korra instead of trying to force her to be like Aang.
YES. In my undergrad thesis many many years ago, I included lurkers (folks who don't interact much, not even to leave a comment at times, but read fic or look at fanart, edits/fanvids, etc.) because fandom has long seen lurkers as key members of the community.
In fandom, you give what you can give and your participation or role is never something that is set in stone. You can be less active today and more in the future. And so on.
Do not let people make you believe that you have to be "productive" to be seen as a "real fan".
You love the thing and belong to a community. That's all you need to be a fan. Do not lose the fun and whimsy!
