साधु यादव - लालू प्रसाद यादव के साले और बिहार के जंगलराज का सबसे कुख्यात चेहरा - ने मुझे ₹5 करोड़ की मानहानि का नोटिस भेजा है।

क्यों?

क्योंकि मैंने वो सच अपनी पुस्तक ‘Broken Promises’ में लिखा और @rajshamani के पॉडकास्ट में बोला जिसे हर बिहारी जानता है, लेकिन बहुत कम लोग खुलकर कहने की हिम्मत करते हैं ।

वैसे तो इनके कई कारनामे हैं लेकिन इन्होंने खुद मेरे तीन कथन को आधार बनाया है:

1. 1999 का शिल्पी-गौतम डबल मर्डर केस जिसने बिहार को झकझोर दिया था - में साधु यादव की कथित संलिप्तता

2. छात्र नेता चंद्रशेखर की हत्या के विरोध में दिल्ली में बिहार भवन के सामने प्रदर्शन कर रहे जेएनयू के छात्रों पर साधु यादव ने गोली चलाने का आदेश दिया

3. लालू जी की बेटी, रोहिणी आचार्य की शादी के दौरान इन्होंने और इनके लोगों ने पटना के दुकानों से गाड़ी, गहने और फर्नीचर तक लूट लिए।

ये कहते हैं कि इससे इनकी “प्रतिष्ठा को ठेस पहुँची” है।
कौन-सी प्रतिष्ठा?

यही तो वह संस्कृति है - गुंडागर्दी, डर और परिवारवाद की - जिसने लालू यादव के राज में बिहार को बर्बाद किया था।और अब सच बोलने वालों को डराने के लिए क़ानूनी नोटिस भेजे जा रहे हैं?

साफ़ कहता हूँ: मैं सच बोलने के लिए न माफ़ी मांगूंगा, न डरूंगा।जिन्होंने अपनी राजनीति डर, धन और दबंगई पर खड़ी की - उन्हें अब सच से डर लगना लाज़मी है।

P.S: मुझे पहले भी साधु यादव के द्वारा कॉल किया जा चुका है । मुझे या मेरे परिवार को किसी प्रकार की हानि होने पर उसके ज़िम्मेदार साधु यादव होंगे ।
