Deepak Gahlawat allegedly demanded ₹3 crore to “fix” the CBI case for N Raja ~the man running a ₹5,000 crore fake medicine racket.
Took ₹1 crore advance through Chennai hawala.
Delhi Police inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh already caught with cash as the middleman.
While a father mortgaged his house, watched his son die of cancer, and now lives with the nightmare that maybe the medicines were fake…
“Were the medicines real… or was my child injected with poison while I paid with my home and my tears?”
Officers who are supposed to protect us are allegedly protecting the people poisoning us.
This is not just corruption.
This is murder by system.
How many more fathers will bury their children while the protectors take bribes from the killers?
Another gem from Madhya Pradesh.
A few days ago, CM Mohan Yadav boasted that MP had again topped the country in wheat procurement at MSP, procuring 1.04 crore metric tonnes from 1.34 million registered farmers.
Turns out, this figure was reached because a network of fake farmers and govt officials collaborated to scam his govt. Between March 5 and March 10, when fraudsters took advantage of the closing window for state wheat procurement registration. During late-night and early-morning hours, they created fake farmer profiles on the state portal. Local revenue officials, including Patwaris and Tehsildars, bypassed mandatory physical verifications and validated these fake registrations without checking actual land-share agreements.
With the fraudulent profiles successfully approved, the scammers purchased cheap wheat from the open market in neighboring states and brought it to govt procurement centers across MP. They passed off this cheap grain under the fake profiles to exploit the state's higher MSP rate of ₹2,585 per quintal along with govt bonuses and earned anywhere between ₹400 - ₹700 per quintal of profit.
The Economic Offences Wing of the state has initiated an investigation into the matter.
Super story by @mazoomdaar at @IndianExpress that only confirms another of the worst kept secrets of Indian politics. Across India, those in power are making windfall profits in private real estate deals by simply getting a change effected in land use. Only difference: no punitive action if it’s a ‘DOUBLE ENGINE’ state! 🙏
🚨 #ExpressInvestigation | Since he took oath as CM of Madhya Pradesh on December 13, 2023, Mohan Yadav’s family and their real estate companies have bought at least 137 plots, adding up to 168 acres, for Rs 45 crore, in zones most benefited by this infrastructure push, an investigation of land records by @mazoomdaar has found.

@myogiadityanath@myogioffice Noida Fire Dept-completely useless during the Ivy County fire, arrived very late, contributed nothing to rescue or firefighting efforts. The maintenance team & residents did the real work while the department showed up for photo-ops only. Shameful.
Indeed! To conflate a Rasgulla with an Idli is not just a culinary error; it is a profound cosmological misunderstanding.
To begin with, the comparison is practically a biological impossibility. She is comparing chhena (the delicate, squeaky, pristine curd of milk) with a meticulously fermented batter of parboiled rice and black gram (urad dal). Their compositions are from entirely different kingdoms. One is an airy, spongy lattice designed to trap light sugar syrup; the other is a dense, wholesome, steamed matrix of complex carbohydrates and proteins. Their taste, consistency, structural integrity, and existential purpose share absolutely nothing in common.
But more important, her attempt to dismiss the Idli as merely a blank canvas for sugar syrup does a grave disservice to what is arguably one of the greatest engineering marvels of the culinary world.
The Idli is not a mere "bland cake." It is a masterclass in biotechnology. To achieve the perfect Idli is to balance the delicate microflora of wild fermentation over a cold night, resulting in a steamed cloud that is a triumph of gut health, lightness, and nutritional balance. It is a savoury monolith of South Indian culinary genius, perfectly engineered to absorb the sharp tang of a well-spiced sambar or the fiery depth of a molaga-podi (gunpowder) paste infused with cold-pressed sesame oil or nutritious melted ghee.
To suggest an Idli would even consent to being drowned in sugar syrup is to fundamentally misunderstand its dignity.
If this lady finds Rasgullas overrated, argue that on the merits of their sponginess or sweetness. But please, leave the noble, perfectly fermented, steamed majesty of the Idli out of your dessert-table polemics, ma'am!
It was an Honor to speak with Prime Minister Modi, of India, this morning. He is one of my greatest friends and, a Powerful and Respected Leader of his Country. We spoke about many things, including Trade, and ending the War with Russia and Ukraine. He agreed to stop buying Russian Oil, and to buy much more from the United States and, potentially, Venezuela. This will help END THE WAR in Ukraine, which is taking place right now, with thousands of people dying each and every week! Out of friendship and respect for Prime Minister Modi and, as per his request, effective immediately, we agreed to a Trade Deal between the United States and India, whereby the United States will charge a reduced Reciprocal Tariff, lowering it from 25% to 18%. They will likewise move forward to reduce their Tariffs and Non Tariff Barriers against the United States, to ZERO. The Prime Minister also committed to “BUY AMERICAN,” at a much higher level, in addition to over $500 BILLION DOLLARS of U.S. Energy, Technology, Agricultural, Coal, and many other products. Our amazing relationship with India will be even stronger going forward. Prime Minister Modi and I are two people that GET THINGS DONE, something that cannot be said for most. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The EU and India concluded negotiations today for an ambitious, comprehensive free trade agreement.
This is the largest trade agreement that both the EU and India have ever concluded.

The Badminton Association of India (BAI) is shamelessly thick-skinned.
Same player raised the same complaint at the Indian Open 2025 last year, but BAI defended itself by citing “logistical challenges” and assured that things would be better next time.
But since when do associations run by politicians care about accountability? Same excuses. Same incompetence. Same embarrassment.
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?
What a man, what a leader, what a cricketing gladiator.
The Aussie media mocked @benstokes38 when he arrived for the Ashes, and he just shoved all their jibes right back down their prematurely smug little throats. Brilliant. 🤩
