@Scaramucci Brexit didn’t help but we have real problem in the UK with a failure to invest in infrastructure and people, an inability to grow successful companies without them being bought by other countries, a ridiculously London centric economy, overpriced services and massive inequality.

@Scaramucci 35% of British voters will vote Reform. The only question is whether the distribution of voters in the first past the post system will make them the government. Yes, it’s a protest vote, but so was Brexit. A colleague of mine said “I voted Brexit just to piss off Cameron”

@helenlewis I think most folk on both sides of the Atlantic are just fed up with being taken for granted whilst our standards of living decline year after year. Unfortunately this make people willing to vote for anything and anyone who recognises the problems

@tomaspueyo I suspect folk are staying away from those surveys for fear of being labelled Islamophobic. My unscientific sampling of Muslims I’ve worked with is they are strongly pro democratic, aren’t that bothered about sharia law but being gay though is a problem for 50% I would say
