It is interesting how humans are the cause of this extinction, and yet we are still the ones dictating the laws that allow this kind of treatment to continue. We need more accountability! #39canimals

I believe this kind of violence within homes towards dogs should be legally classified as domestic violence. Dogs need the same rights and freedoms as humans have in these kinds of cases! #39canimals

The popularity of dog cruelty has risen throughout the years and this is due to the raise in popularity of having dogs as pets. With the rise of dog ownership, the rates of dog cruelty has also risen. #39canimals

This is one of the main reasons these facilities and their actions remain legal! There is no accountability for the horrors they are committing, so nothing can change until they face legal consequences ⚖️ #39canimals

Since there are no forms of inspections, there is no authority which makes sure the regulations placed are being met at the facility. Furthermore proving that these puppies are kept in facilities that have little to no regard for their wellbeing. #39canimals

Advocacy and education is the first step in ending puppy mills because education goes a long way, as it makes people more aware of what is taking place. Another solution is to make puppy mills a main stream problem. #39canimals

The Humane Society of the US is such a great resource for advocating for animal rights! I really enjoy reading the recent research they have, or stories of the work they are doing to help.

The decline in the sales of pet stores will lead to a decline in the production of puppy mills. Proving that with government and legislation creating new laws and regulations in order to lower the number of puppy mills, the problem will be helped immensely.

The over breeding of animals in these facilities typically also leads to a raise stray pets, which can be harmful to public health. The raise in strays leads to a raise in exposure of dogs who are unvaccinated and possibly infected with diseases. #39canimals
