Hi TCG fam! I’m @ Orlando spectating the regionals and fear the necklace in this picture fell off within the past two hours since I’ve been here 🥹 I retraced my walk to my car 2x and checked the event lost and found. RTs/likes for visibility appreciated 😭 it’s very sentimental

seeing only ONE woman total on the casting desk for this upcoming event is disappointing, and i’m confused how this game that i love continues to make decisions like this!!
🫶 make more space
If you prefer TCG with a woman caster, please check out my Lille call-in restream this weekend! Coverage starts at 6:30 EST day 1, and continues day 2z
Nothing will change until men start actively denouncing this behavior and holding each other accountable. The kind of men who prey on women simply do not care that women think they're disgusting. It will always mean more coming from fellow men.
Also, please be careful around people who are very loudly performative about being “good.” It’s not something that needs to be crowed from the rooftops. This is why I say to just do the work quietly and speak up only when it’s necessary.
It’s not about being good. It’s about making sure that your loved ones are safe. Do that, and the right ones will rightly see you for who and what you are.
Check on your friends at events. Make sure they’re getting into their Ubers safely. Don’t leave them alone if you think they’re around someone unsafe. Use your best judgment, especially if theirs is impaired. Do this quietly and don’t seek credit. If you’re doing it correctly, it won’t be obvious to anyone else.
If it turns out that your friends are the unsafe ones: do the hard thing and call them out. If there’s room for them to grow and change, and you’re equipped to do so, then help them where you can. Regardless, do not let them continue toxic behavior patterns around vulnerable people. Use your voice to warn others – privately if necessary, publicly if possible.
Hopefully you were already doing these things. If not, it’s long past time to start.
Two years ago, I walked into this convention center alone for my first regional ever. This weekend I walked in with best friends and was surrounded by community. I am so grateful everything and everyone Pokemon has brought me. This regional was emotional but my heart is full 🤍♥️
Nurse Joy played Blissey/Munki at Pittsburgh regionals and finished 3-2-3 (1,059 / 2,691 players!) 🏥🥚Haven’t played a major since Baltimore regionals around this time last year. So much fun and a great time seeing everyone as always! 💖✨
