…maybe similar in some ways to security training or machine updates where there’s a log of who’s not completed the task in a certain time and a little automated nudge (email/slack) is sent.

Figma removing the library update panel has been pretty controversial in the DS space this week. It got me thinking. What if there was a feature for kit maintainers to see who’s connected and time last updated? Not to name and shame but used to prompt peeps to update libraries…

@HonzaTmn @figma We keep them all on their own pages with signposting to individual component pages on our reference website.

We did originally have several groups but found that Forms were the only clear and sensible group for users so reverted to a flat structure apart from Forms.

@svorklab @nathanacurtis I’m curious but why does the greater number of systems worked on mean your more of an expert than someone who’s worked on establishing a really good one over an invested period of time?

@NateBaldwinArt Agree. It’s also going to be behind a paywall for engineers to get access too. Be interested to know how many small to medium size businesses are happy to free up engineering budget for extra licenses so they can get something that’s still essentially a handoff.

One is for the usage and guidelines for consumer and the other is for spec (anatomy, sizing, interactions, behaviour, accessibility etc) of the component (in Figma) which doesn’t need to bloat the consumer doc
