We had a Goldfinch at our Little Free Library this morning. As well heard a Baltimore Oriole and a Yellow Warbler close by. It's migration season for the songbirds and we've added the children's book, There's a Goldfinch At My Feeder, by Burlington author Pamela Cooley. #BurlON

Today is Small Business Saturday and it's not surprising that one of our favourite small businesses are independent bookstores. A couple we like are A Different Drummer Books in Burlington and J.H. Gordon Books in Hamilton.
Any Celeste Ng fans out there? A recent visitor dropped off her 2017 thriller, Little Fires Everywhere. Come by soon as bestselling author book won't stay for long.
Colleen Hoover's books have been consistently on the bestseller list. Finally after three years we have one of her books, the 2018 novel Verity, in our library. This one won't be in here long.

Oh, the places you'll go. 3 years ago today we began this journey and opened Summers Common Little Free Library. To celebrate our anniversary, we've placed a copy of one our favourite children's books, Oh, The Places You'll Go, by Dr. Seuss in the library. #BurlON
Little Free Libraries keep growing in Burlington. On a recent bike ride, I spotted two new ones. A small one in the east end on Spruce Ave and perhaps the biggest one in the city on the Beach Strip. #BurlON

Little Free Libraries keep growing in Burlington. Another new library in the Elizabeth Gardens neighbourhood is a Little Kids Library at 5216 Alton Road. It's 2.8km and is a 35 minute walk from ours. #BurlON
