Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries.

We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. An absolutely insane Russian missile strike directly hit a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region. According to preliminary reports, it was a ballistic missile. There were no children at the lyceum — it is currently summer break — but staff members were present. Sadly, some people may still be trapped under the rubble. It is already known that two people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.

The lyceum has been almost completely destroyed. A rescue operation is ongoing, with all necessary emergency services involved. None of these Russian strikes are accidental — the Russian army knows exactly where it is targeting. These are demonstration strikes. Russia’s leadership has no intention of changing, no intention of ending the war voluntarily.

That is why a real and painful increase in pressure and sanctions against Russia is necessary. Right now, we are defending ourselves against Russian attacks. But if Russia is not forced into peace, other countries in Europe will have to think about protecting their lyceums, hospitals, and ordinary apartment buildings — wherever these Russian murderers might strike. The killings and strikes must be stopped. Russia must face real pressure.

The family of the 14-year-old girl who died in a Russian airstrike in Kharkiv had just begun to recover from another loss — the girl's father had previously gone missing in the Donetsk area, her relative Olga told Ukrainian media 'Suspilne.'

In the video, the girl's mother is sitting on a bench, in complete shock and tears, after the loss of her only child. At the time of the attack, the schoolgirl was sitting on a bench near a children playground.

Moreover, you’ve invited a russian onto your show to represent russia, whereas global sports officials at least make them take part under a neutral flag.

The country that shells Ukrainian cities and kills Ukrainians should not be represented and invited in any show or sports while they are murdering people in another country. If that’s not enough — literally today russia has hit the center of the Ukrainian city Chernihiv with a ballistic missile, killing 7, including a child, and injuring 129 people.

Tonight in Uman', in the heart of Ukraine, Russians shelled another residential building while people were sleeping. Nine were killed, including a preschooler, and 15 were wounded.

The same night, in another city, Dnipro, a young woman and a 3-year-old child were killed in another Russian strike.

If all this murdering and terrorism is not enough to drive Russia out of everywhere and stop doing business with it, I swear, I don't know what else has to happen to Ukraine and its people for the rest of the world to take action.
