Traditional bone setters never fix a femur correctly. This are the x-rays of a patient after 2 years treatment with persistent pain, shortening and limp
It took less than 2 hours to fix this in the OR. See x-ray below.

This child had an elbow fracture and was treated by a local bonesetter for 2 weeks with complications. Luckily he was brought to us before much damage was done. We had to do an open reduction and fixation to give the best chance for recovery

We did ORIF with bone grafting restoring limb length.
