If we speculate here, my guess is they really did figure something out and I’m hyped. People are missing these things and focused on other details that don’t matter as much:

1. o3 rate limits doubled for plus users
2. o3 Price reduction of 80% (Honestly insane, cheaper than original gpt-4 and current gpt-4o)
3. o3-pro with a pricing reduction compared to o1-pro that is even just more insane (Don’t forget, it’s better than o1-pro as well by far from my testing so far)
