SQL makes sense
until JOINs enter the conversation.
At first, everything feels logical. You understand SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY things are moving smoothly.
Then JOINs show up.
And suddenly you’re asking:
Why are there duplicate rows?
Why is this table behaving like this?
Which table is the “main” one here?
Why am I getting NULL values I didn’t expect?
And how are these tables even connecting?
This is usually the point where most beginners pause.
Not because SQL is hard, but because JOINs force you to think differently. You’re no longer just working with one table you’re combining relationships, and that changes everything.
But here’s the part people don’t say enough:
Once JOINs finally click, SQL stops feeling confusing and starts feeling powerful.
You begin to see how data actually connects in real systems, not just in isolated tables.
If you’re learning SQL right now, where are you with JOINs still confusing, starting to click, or already comfortable?
Bro, If you're in the Uk 🇬🇧, go to Facebook market place — on the search bar, type this:
"Business for sale by Owner"
Tell me what you see — depending on your city, you'll see opportunities.
You don't need to build from the scratch, You can simply buy one with the structures & already paying clients.
Stop looking for only shift — look for other sustainable opportunities in your county community.
Open your eyes bro - there's a serious wealth transfer going on abroad esp in the UK 🇬🇧.

All things being equal, everyone has about 70-80 years to live. When you factor in all the troubles of the world, Nigeria especially, you’ll likely not get started in life until you’re 30-35 and will only start seeing stability after another 7-10 years of nonstop grind.
How many years are left after all that? Life is extremely hard for people that did not meet money at home.
Use your time wisely, no time to waste.
Do this and you will stand out 👇🏾
Network intentionally (join communities, attend events, meetup with professionals and like minded people).
Build a home lab.
Document what you have done (not just what you have learnt). Position yourself as a problem solver.
Show practical work. Incident investigations, risk assessments, policy drafts etc.
Create a visible Cybersecurity portfolio (LinkedIn, GitHub, Medium etc)
Learn how to tell your story (especially at interviews). If you are great at giving examples, you are one step closer to getting a job.
To stand out, you have to be intentional and practical 💪
You have just a laptop and a strong internet, do this if you make UGC and want to get paid
- Instead of creating random UGC, go on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts and study at least 10 high-performing videos in your niche with strong engagement.
- Sign up on Glitchy and choose affiliate offers that already have demand instead of trying to force weak offers on people. Sign up here https://t.co/CxpJmTIE1l
- Use n8n, MakeUGC, and simple AI landing pages to create videos optimized for conversions, clicks, and retention.
- Distribute aggressively across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and iterate based on watch time, clicks, and conversions
Putting together this list is one of the hardest things I have ever put myself into.
I didn't even get paid for it.
Didn't even do it for PR.
Did that just to help.
I guess it is just adrenaline rush and willingness to help others.

I’m deeply honored to have been selected by my department’s graduate faculty to receive the prestigious “John F. Murray Outstanding Doctoral Student in Teaching” Award.
I will formally receive the award at the department’s end-of-year celebration on May 5.
This award recognizes my excellence in teaching and commitment to student learning, mentorship, and success over the past eight semesters as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Instructor of Record.
I dedicate this recognition to the hundreds of students with whom I’ve walked this road of teaching and learning at the University of Iowa, United States.
Day 32 of my data analytics journey📊.
Learnt something new again from @ezekiel_aleke, and I think I’m beginning to really like working with codes🙂.
Today, I explored SQL Joins, Subqueries, and also learnt how to connect Power BI and Excel to my SQL Server. It felt exciting👇
