One of them major drivers of me looking at casino tokens was simply the pmf that they have acheived. The fact is that shuffle, rollbit etc are generating huge amounts of revenue, a rarity where in an industry where something like cardano which generates pretty much no revenue and no users is somehow has a valuation in the billions. Crypto Casinos have huge revenues and tons of users. As such, a token like ethereum:0x8881562783028f5c1bcb985d2283d5e170d88888 which pays 500k a week to its holders is a rarity (and frankly undervalued as it stands now)
The next logical step is the decentralised casino. As @sterlingishere put in his arcticle - Hyper Liquid has been the star of the last bull run. Its become a large portion of the perpetual market place.
But look at the Total addresable market of the perps space vs the casino space. I asked my friend Claude to do a comparison and this is what they came up with.
"But by actual revenue captured, global casino/gambling GGR (~$650B) is still ~20–40x larger than perps exchange revenue (~$15–30B)"
This is the space that Shuffle is trying to move into with its decentralised casino.. Its a much larger market - with a much higher addressable market and potential revenues.
As sterling correctly put in the article, the team that creates the hyperliquid of casinos will have the opprtunity to create a whole new vertical. I look at the Shuffle team and what they have acheived in the last couple of years, and feel they are incredibly placed to do so.
Super excited for what comes next. ethereum:0x8881562783028f5c1bcb985d2283d5e170d88888
