Amazing news for our EPIC community project!

After a vicious and slanderous Islamophobic campaign in which it was claimed that our community project was intending to start a 'Shariah City' (!!) in Texas, coordinated by an unhinged Zionist person based in New Jersey, and unfortunately amplified by the governor and state politicians, the Trump-led Department of Justice found *no evidence* of any illegal activity and dropped its investigation.

We were saying this from day one, but Zionists needed to waste our tax dollars and resources in order smear us. Fear-mongering is a tried and tested mechanism by that group. They were constantly using video clips of me saying that American Muslims needed to be involved in the civic life of our country, and of me criticizing Isr@el and defending the humanity of Palestinians, to paint such a picture. Thankfully, all of their tactics failed miserably.

I will continue to preach my message: Muslims, like all faith communities, have just as much right to participate in our country's civic and political realms as all other groups. We are not asking for *any* special privilege, but we will not be treated as second-class citizens and will fight (legally!) for our rights that all other citizens have. We are not hiding any agenda: we will will continue to attempt to make our country more ethical and noble, and stopping all foreign invasions and wars, especially its support for the genocidal regime of Isr@el. Our taxes should be spent on our needs, and our politicians should represent us, not a foreign entity.

Truth and love wins; hate and lies always fail in the end.
