When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.
But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.
A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.
Let’s be clear…the Big Ugly bill is why your insurance premiums keep going up.
Marjorie Taylor Greene voted for it.
While the wealthy got permanent tax cuts, working families got higher bills and less coverage. Now that it’s become personal, folks’ eyes are starting to open.
But we weren’t sent to Congress to only care when it hits home — we were sent here to fight for every single constituent we represent.
Socialism is what they called public power.
Socialism is what they called social security.
Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Today marks SIX WEEKS since I was elected by the voters of AZ-07.
For six weeks, @SpeakerJohnson has denied them their voice in Congress.

If someone works full-time and receives SNAP, that means your taxpayer dollars are subsidizing the company's profits bc it refuses to pay them a livable wage.
This can only be said so many ways; it isn’t difficult to grasp.
"The average American taxpayer spends $36 per year to support the SNAP program. The average American taxpayer spends $670 per year on corporate subsidies."
Want to get people off SNAP? Start with minimum wage. Had minimum wage kept up with inflation and productivity, it would be $26 an hour. That would remove 13 million workers from Snap benefits overnight.
These ate facts.
