Cannot express how much I love RPWP - sonically, for the message it conveys, lyrics, everything. I just feel amazed while listening. Thank you Namjoon. RPWP came when I needed it. I feel comforted, as the right person in the wrong place and the wrong person in the right place.
Since they started their press run in early 2017, Namjoon hasn’t really made a wrong step. It really struck me on the day of Kobe’s death. Namjoon is not a sports fan but he had a perfect response to a question asked about that
I also genuinely think that the songs in RPWP stand out individually but make most cohesive sense when listened to as a whole. It’s a statement altogether
I honestly think RPWP is the single most present and urgent album of the current age. It may not get all the streams bc it’s not ur little pop song but it will last forever as a masterpiece. I genuinely love it so much. I wondered how we could top Indigo but here we are
I don’t think I realised that’s how I felt personally in where I am rn until RPWP came out and put a name to it. I’m so proud of Namjoon, for his artistic expression but also his vulnerability. Joon worked so hard to bring us this album before enlisting, I’ll work hard for him
This video humanises RPWP and gives good context for the songs. Not something so abstract but a universal feeling expressed so artistically by Namjoon - the feeling of being the odd one out, being right yet wrong, of being lost. I honestly love Right Place Wrong Person so much.
Countless people relentlessly put unfair expectations on BTS, especially Namjoon as the leader, to 'speak out' for every single thing in the world, to be some sort of advocate, activist or diplomat, when that's not their role nor did they ever ask to be the saviour of the world.
Back online for RPWP release and I’m starting my first listen of the album and MV now!!! First listen I’m just enjoying how it sounds sonically. I love how the songs flow into each other and the vibe is reminiscent of IGOR. Namjoon did so well I am so proud of him.
@ultramarineJoon London is so lovely these days, I hope u have a fun trip. :) If u have any free time and would like to hang, I would love to show u around!
Based on our views and streams, it seems like most of you have already given up. It feels like the hype was just a fever dream. Hmm...
Anyway, it's the last day of the tracking period. Go get those streams!
Seeing Lee Sung Jin say he was trying to pitch a dance narrative/dance music video is so funny to me. I cannot even imagine what kind of choreo would go with this song
