That includes pointing out flaws, no matter how big or small, of something that you enjoy. I personally dont read naoto as a man or kanji as gay, but someone else interpeting it doesnt bother me. I personally dont like the ending of yukikos sl but imo its written well/makes sense
Thinking about persona 4 is so funny bc i love this game its a good game but p4 fans also shut down any and every criticism/opinions someone might have of the game, pretending as if the game is perfectly written when, like every persona game, it has its faults (which is fine!)
And im not talking about naoto or kanji, but it boils down to everything that you dont like about the game (be it a character, be it some obvious faults) is just boiled down to you "lacking media literacy", when media literacy is all about being able to analize something you like
The way they wanted to make ranma a basic average harem protagonist So Bad ughhh and all that happosai filler. And not to mention how with this anime we finally have a chance of getting a Full adaptation (honestly i hoped for a full faithful adaptation ever since i was a kid 😭)
I fucking love the og anime, but people glazing it is purely out of nostalgia. Some episodes were genuinely so terrible with mischaracterization and pacing, that ranma and akane specifically sometimes seemed like completely different characters than from the manga
"the remake was so unnecessary" if you haven't read the manga respectfully stfu how tf would you know if it's necessary or not 💀💀 the og anime was stuffed with filler, mischaracterization, and shit pacing.
