Ghost history. I suspect few people have read this … 14 years ago I did a 5-volume edited collection of primary sources Ghosts: A Social History. It was very expensive. Some sample content.

Quick update on this year’s Deep Clean @StrangersHall. Thanks to a super team of volunteers everything from fragile Victorian lustres to humble plaited bed mats receives a careful conservation clean. Front window displays, featuring founder Leonard Bolingbroke, brush up nicely!
Delighted to share that I’ve curated a display @bodleianlibs. ‘Mischief in the Archives’ takes the trickster Bajan folk character Shaggy Bear as inspiration and is based upon my ongoing research into papers relating to the Codrington Estates in Barbados: https://t.co/UiELyXQU3W
