111 days of running concentrated liquidity on Solana mainnet. Real client, real money. Here's what actually happened.
Period: Jan 8 – Apr 28, 2026 SOL: $133 → $84 (−37%) Strategy: Raydium CLMM ±4%, 69 rebalances
Results on $16,170: • Fees earned: $6,371 (≈130% APR) • IL: −$4,466 • Swap costs: −$127 • Final value: $11,705 (−27.6%)
vs passive on the same capital: • HODL 50/50: $13,174 (−18.5%) • HODL 100% SOL: $10,178 (−37.1%)
Honest read: in a one-way trending market, static-range CLMM loses to HODL 50/50. Every band exit means selling the rising side and buying the falling one. Fees softened the drawdown but didn't fully offset it.
What worked: the fee engine. ≈130% APR on capital, even on a falling tape.
What didn't: a fixed ±4% range during a sustained trend.
Next: a dynamic-range version where the band adapts to realized volatility.
